Amazing week and hope to repeat next year. Really professional, well organised. Meeting people from other countries, learning from the professionals of the industry and working on a real brief with Ferrero was a real experience.
Thanks Ornella, it was great to have someone from Venezuela (via Madrid!) join the EACA Summer School. We would love to see you again next year and do tell your colleagues !! Have a good summer.
Thanks to everyone for making the week such a success.
It was a great week, in a great city and shared with great people. If I have the chance, I will join the Summer School next year. As Ornella has said, everything was very well organized and we could meet very interesting professionals. Thank you!
Thanks Euri, it was great to have your warmth and energy in the group

Thank you for this fantastic week, it was really amazing to have many european students here in Paris. All the classes held were great, I’ve learnt many things about communication, with clear, well explained lessons, and good practises.
For sure, we’ll recommand this “Summer School” to the other students at ISCOM.
Thanks again,
Matthieu.
Merci Mathieu – ISCOM was a great place to host our first school. Good luck, Micky
The week in Paris was very interesting for me. I learned a lot and everything was very well organized. I’ll do my best to come back next year with some more people of my school.
Thank you !
Kenny
Kenny, we’d love to see you back next year and do bring your friends – we will let you know the details later this year. Have a good summer and well done finding such a good internship. Micky
As I told my friends and colleagues when I came back from Paris: All I needed was five days to change my perspective on life. Apart from all the good trainings and great people I’ve met, the biggest achievement for me was realizing the fact that I can actually do a great job in advertising (which I happen to be really passionate of) with great people. Those five days in Paris gave me a strong motivation to want more from me and for me. The sky is no longer the limit.
Ruxandra – keep aiming high, as Leo Burnett said “When you reach for the stars you may not quite get one, but you won’t come up with a handful of mud either”, I am thrilled you got so much out of the Summer School – keep your passion and energy strong and you will find a great job.

The classes were great and working on the pitch was a lot of fun. The nicest experience was to start working with a group of total strangers and becoming a team as the week progressed. I’ll definitely recommend the school to my colleagues and would like to be back next year, if time allows it.
Cheers,

Thanks for these great comments.
If you end up working in an international agency you will find that a pitch team is often often created from scratch involving people from different countries, and just like you they need to meet and get to know each other at the same time as working on the pitch brief itself.
It is an exciting and memorable experience to pitch with a multinational team. The mix of cultures and backgrounds can add so much flavour and depth to the resulting proposal but it can also result in misunderstanding and confusion if the pitch process and responsibilites have not been clearly defined upfront!
Good luck and hope to see you next year

Hey Micky! Wow, so many warm and positive responses. That’s great. I feel the same about our week in Paris and want to recommend the Summer School to all young people, who love advertising. It’s not only a unique learning experience, but also a chance to broaden one’s mind. No matter if you’re right at the beginning or already started working.
All the best & thank you for everything!
Birgit
P.S. Guys, I loved to read your posts and hopefully we’ll meet again!
